FEATURING, so far...

jim gibson

Jim is passionate about helping people overcome struggles, find healing, and rebuild their lives, especially those affected by addiction. This led him to launch the Tremble Scotland Conference, bringing together people in recovery and those committed to supporting them. His own journey began at 22, when a life-changing experience gave him a fresh start and a deep care for others. With his wife Myra, he founded Freedom City Church in 1992 and later Freedom City Foundation, which tackles addiction, poverty, and family challenges. His focus is on encouraging and equipping people to step into their potential and make a positive difference in their communities. This is Jim’s first time joining us at Fixed, and we are delighted to welcome him.

LIAM HUSBAND

Liam’s childhood was scarred by physical and emotional abuse. By the age of ten, he had turned to solvents in a desperate attempt to escape, beginning a 16-year struggle that involved prison, overdoses, and suicide attempts. When he finally entered drug treatment, he arrived broken, full of self-hatred, and without hope. Through recovery and personal transformation through faith, Liam began a new journey of purpose and has continued on that path to this day. Now living in Bournemouth with his wife and four children, Liam leads Hope Community Church. We are thrilled to welcome him back to Fixed for the fifth time and can’t wait to hear what he brings.

CLYDE THOMAS

Clyde’s life was radically transformed in 2003 while serving a prison sentence. After the death of a close friend, he experienced an encounter with God that changed everything. Since then, his passion has been to share the hope and purpose he found through his journey of recovery. Although his main focus is the UK, Clyde has also travelled internationally to encourage others facing similar struggles. He is an inspirational speaker who longs to see people discover true freedom and purpose. Clyde leads the UK branch of Hope Centre Ministries, part of an international network of rehabilitation centres that has helped thousands break free from addiction and step into purposeful living. We are delighted Clyde has agreed to return for his sixth year as a Fixed speaker.

PAUL LLOYD

Paul is originally from London. For 12 years he was caught in heroin addiction and a cycle of violent crime. Today, he is a devoted husband to Vicky, a father, and the senior pastor of Victory Outreach Manchester. In addition to his local work, Paul also serves as Victory Outreach International Director for the UK and Germany region. With over 25 years of experience supporting people facing life-controlling issues, he brings deep insight and compassion to his work. He is also the author of Leading Broken People, a book that reflects both his journey and his heart for restoration. Paul is a much-loved regular at our Fixed conferences, and we are honoured he continues to return.

ALISON FENNING

Alison has been part of our Fixed conferences since the very beginning and what a joy she’s been! Together with her husband Richard, she leads Mission on the Move—a pioneering organisation that reaches people in hard-to-reach places while equipping others to do the same. Before turning her life around, Alison spent many years caught in alcohol addiction and the party scene, using recreational drugs. Out of these struggles, and her understanding of the devastation addiction can bring, she developed a chaplaincy ministry in Suffolk, reaching out to women involved in the sex industry. Today, Alison is a gifted speaker and author, known for her passion to see lives transformed and to mentor the next generation. We are delighted that Fixed is in her diary every year.

HASINA DOWNIE

Hasina has shared her Spoken Word at seven of our previous Fixed conferences, powerfully telling her story of restoration and transformation. Growing up, she built her identity on her sexuality and became increasingly angry at people and at life itself. This path led her into drug and alcohol addiction, followed by crime and eventually prison. Since turning her life around in 2013, Hasina has devoted herself to helping others discover freedom and purpose. Now based in Bristol, she works with people struggling with addiction and serves as a youth leader in her local community. We are thrilled to welcome her back to Fixed, continuing to inspire all who hear her creative storytelling.

BARRY WOODWARD

Barry grew up in Salford, Greater Manchester, and left school at just 16 without any qualifications. Drawn into Manchester’s vibrant music scene, he also became entangled in drugs, eventually descending into heroin addiction and a life of dealing. For fifteen years he battled dependency and spent multiple terms in prison. Everything changed when Barry was invited to church, resulting in a complete transformation of his life. Today, Barry is a contemporary and inspirational communicator, known for blending humour with passion to engage and encourage his audiences in prisons, rehabs, and churches across the UK. What is a Fixed Conference without Barry?

ALAN HAMILTON

Alan spent over twenty-two years trapped in drug addiction and criminality. Thirteen rehabilitation centres, multiple short prison sentences, and countless psychiatric hospital stays failed to bring lasting change. Alan finally came to a pivotal turning point and to a faith which completely transformed his life. Alan is married to Jackie. After many years leading a church in South Wales, he is now based in Scotland as an itinerant teacher and mentor. Alongside this work, he supports men recovering from addiction and collaborates with organisations including Broken Chains, House of Prayer, and Road to Recovery in Ayr and we are thrilled to welcome him back to Fixed for the eighth year.

MVRVIN ADAMHA

Mvrvin Adamha has inspired audiences at Fixed for the past eight years, with his music. Growing up on an estate in South Manchester, an area notorious for violence and crime, he struggled with anger and insecurity, which led to fighting, carrying weapons, and gang involvement. Hip-Hop became a lifeline, steering him away from a deeper path into crime. In 2013, Mvrvin experienced a transformative turning point that completely changed his life. Today, he runs his own record label, Iron Sharpens Iron and he uses his creativity to engage young people. Through his music, he shares messages of hope and personal growth, leaving a lasting impact. It is always a pleasure to welcome him back to Fixed.

VICTORY OUTREACH BAND

The worship team from Victory Outreach Manchester aim to guide people into focused, authentic worship experiences that inspire and uplift. They lead worship every Sunday at Victory Outreach Manchester on Liverpool Street, Salford, and their members are also active across the wider Manchester music community, contributing to events such as Festival of Praise, Prayer Storm, and Voices Beyond Gospel Choir. With a deep passion for bringing people together through music, the team combines excellence in performance with a heart for community engagement. This will be their sixth year at Fixed, continuing to inspire all who gather.
